Many years ago, in the dawn of the internet, a telenovela fan by the name of Yolette Nicholson and her faithful friends Alex, and later, Ben set up a web site called Rinconlatino where fans of telenovelas could talk about their favorite shows in English, Spanish, and Spanglish. Univision was so impressed, it bought Rinconlatino and created a different site. But Yolette and Ben didn't want to lose their friends so they started telenovelas-internet.com. Unfortunately, all fairy tales must come to an end. Yolette had a dream: to write. Plays, novels, movies. You name it. And that is what she is doing. Univision now owns telenovelas-internet.com and will continue to open forums for novelas shown on Univision and Telefutura, but the site will function only as a gateway to novelas on other networks (in other words, TV Azteca and Telemundo). In addition, Univision uses non-threaded forum software which makes it difficult to hold the conversations that have made Yolette's site so friendly and popular.
We have set up this site to continue what Yolette started. We can't pretend
to do all the wonderful things she did with her site, but we hope that you
will find these forums an interesting and friendly place to discuss your

You may post messages in the U.S. forums in English,
Spanish, Spanglish or Portugese with the expectation that
somebody will understand what you are saying.
We encourage opinions both for and against the actors,
plots and networks. You can always ignore the postings made
by people with whom you disagree. But, please, confine your
likes and dislikes to the novelas. Do not insult the people who
say things with which you don't agree. We reserve the right to
remove any postings which are abusive or contain obscene
language.
